Privacy policy

Print The Cart is a browser add-on that suggests 3D-printable alternatives on Amazon search pages. This page explains what it collects and why.
What stays on your device
- The add-on reads your Amazon search terms to find matches.
- Matching runs inside your browser against a library downloaded to your device.
- A short list of recently shown models is kept locally to avoid repeats.
- None of this is sent to us when a match is found.
What we collect
- Email address: used to activate the add-on and send library updates.
- Searches with no match: the search text only, used to find gaps in the library.
- File downloads: which model you opened, to send one follow-up email a week later.
- Supporter status: whether you support the project, and until when.
We do not collect your name, your Amazon account, your browsing history, or your purchases.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe's own privacy policy covers the payment information you give them.
Services we use
- Cloudflare: hosts this site, the model library, and our server.
- Resend: sends our emails.
- Stripe: processes payments.
We do not sell or share your information with anyone else, and we do not use it for advertising.
Emails
Every email after activation includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops all follow-up emails.
Deleting your data
Email hello@printthecart.com and we will delete your email address and everything tied to it. Removing the add-on deletes everything stored on your device.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
